1. Who we are
CalcVibes, available at calcvibes.com, is operated by Nouman Ahmad, an individual based in Pakistan. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the operator of CalcVibes, who is responsible for personal information handled through this website. 2. Calculator inputs and results
Our calculators perform calculations in your browser. We do not receive your entered values or results through a calculation service, save them in an account, or add them to page request URLs. This includes values entered into health and financial calculators. Inputs and results are held in page memory and may be cleared when you reload or leave the page.
Copying, printing or downloading a result creates an output on your device or clipboard. You control how you save or share that output. If you choose to include calculator values in an email to us, those values become part of that correspondence.
3. Information handled when you visit or contact us
- Website requests: Cloudflare hosts and delivers the website. It processes technical information such as your IP address, requested page, browser information and request time to deliver content and protect the service. Operational logs or aggregate service statistics may be produced as part of that activity.
- Browser preferences: your selected theme and display currency are saved on your device. Browser language and time-zone settings are used locally to suggest a currency. We do not request GPS access or send these settings to a location service.
- Contact emails: if you email us, we receive your email address, any name you supply, message content and attachments. Cloudflare Email Routing forwards messages sent to our contact address to a Gmail inbox provided by Google.
Contact links open your email application; the website does not have an account registration, payment checkout or contact submission form. Please send only the information needed for your enquiry and avoid attaching sensitive health records, financial documents, passwords or identification documents.
4. Why we use information
We use contact information to handle enquiries, investigate reported errors and manage privacy requests. Technical information supports website delivery, security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting. Local preferences make the site display your chosen theme and currency.
Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we rely on legitimate interests for operating and securing the website and handling ordinary correspondence. Those interests are providing useful calculators, responding to visitors and preventing misuse. We rely on legal obligations when processing is necessary to meet an applicable legal requirement. If an activity requires consent, we obtain it before that activity begins; simply visiting this website is not consent to optional tracking.
5. Advertising, analytics and sharing
Google Analytics, Cloudflare Web Analytics and Google AdSense are not enabled on CalcVibes. We do not use advertising trackers, sell personal information, or share it for targeted advertising. Hosting and security operations described above still take place.
Information is handled by the operator and the hosting and email providers described in this policy as needed to supply their services. We may also disclose information where required by law or where reasonably necessary to address fraud, security incidents or legal claims. We will update these policies and introduce any required consent controls before enabling analytics or advertising.
6. Providers and international processing
Cloudflare provides hosting, content delivery, security and email forwarding; Google provides the receiving Gmail inbox. Their services may process information outside Pakistan and outside your country, including in the United States. Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we must use an appropriate lawful transfer mechanism. You may contact us for information about the arrangements relevant to your data.
For the providers’ own practices, see the Cloudflare Privacy Policy and Google Privacy Policy. These notices supplement this policy; they do not remove our responsibilities for information we handle.
7. How long information is kept
- Calculator values: we do not retain them on our servers. Any copied, printed or downloaded outputs remain under your control.
- Preferences: saved theme and currency choices remain in your browser until you clear them or your browser removes them. The site sets no automatic expiry.
- Support emails: we keep correspondence while an enquiry is open and delete it 12 months after the issue is resolved. A relevant record may be kept longer where necessary for an ongoing dispute or legal obligation, then deleted when that reason ends.
- Technical records: retention depends on the record and the provider’s service. The criteria are how long information is needed for delivery, security, incident investigation or a legal requirement. Provider-managed records follow the applicable service retention arrangements.
8. Your privacy choices and rights
You can use the calculators without emailing us. You can remove saved preferences using your browser’s site-data settings, as explained in the Cookie Policy.
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, restrict its use, or receive a portable copy. These rights have conditions and exceptions. We do not make legal or similarly significant decisions about you through automated profiling.
Right to object: where processing relies on legitimate interests and applicable law provides this right, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation.
Send requests to contact@calcvibes.com with enough detail to identify the correspondence or information concerned. We may ask for proportionate verification to avoid disclosing information to the wrong person. We respond within the period required by applicable law, normally within one month where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies. We cannot retrieve calculator values that were never sent to us.
You may complain to the data protection authority responsible for your location where applicable. UK visitors can contact the Information Commissioner’s Office; visitors in the EEA can contact their national supervisory authority. You do not have to contact us first to exercise that right.
9. Children’s privacy
CalcVibes is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through correspondence. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can investigate and remove it where appropriate. Calculator entries stay in the browser as described above.
10. Security, external links and changes
We take reasonable steps to protect information handled through the site, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Fonts and images used by the site are served with its content. Links to external websites take you to services with their own privacy practices.
